Duolingo is now on a mission to train the brain of the elderly. To the old audiences, there aren’t many activities involving calculation, except for the silent contest of dividing the family patrimony between them and their calculating kids. For that reason, Duolingo sneaks in to be a new kid in the family, joins forces with the old parents, and after that, becomes the only kid of mommy and daddy.


{A closer look to the details}The art direction of the print ad is to make sure to visualize each word out of the copy in a way that is familiar with the senior audiences. This way of visualising also makes Duo the owl look way more real and embellished without having to turn him to 2D character.
